Lara Logan

 Lara Logan (born 29 March 1971) is a South African television and radio journalist and war correspondent. She was a reporter for CBS News between 2002 and 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager called her factually incorrect and politcally slanted story on the 2012 Benghazi attack "the worst mistake on my 10-year-watch." She stated that she was "dumpedby the company in March 2022. Logan worked as an assistant news reporter at Durban's Sunday Tribune (1988-1989) and the Daily News (1990-1992). She was hired by Reuters Television Africa in 1992 as a senior producer. After four years of working for the Reuters Television network in Africa, she decided to freelance in journalistic work. She was employed as a reporter/editor/producer by Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY (in London), CBS News, ABC News, NBC News and the European Broadcasting Union. CNN was her homebase, where she reported on events such as 1998's United States embassy bombings, in Nairobi and Tanzania. Also, the conflict between Northern Ireland and Kosovo.
