Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie (born November 24, 1982) is an American political commentator from the United States. She was previously a political candidate, and also a television host at MSNBC and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and former host of The Hill's Rising together with Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball announced in May 2021 that they'd be leaving the show to start their own project, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball hosts with Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared on network programs such as CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball attributes her interest in politics due to the reality that she became a mother during the 2008 primary elections, and was also able be able to watch the US presidential election results while in Jordan. She observed how it affected the people of that country, and came to appreciate for US political influence across the globe. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st district in the year 2010. She was defeated by Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 to July 2015. In May of 2017, she launched the People's House Project, a political action committee that works for Democratic causes.
